Biography
1985

Kevin leaves school and Scotland and heads to the bright city of London where he joins as a session singer with Bronski Beat after Jimmy Somerville left and formed The Communards, following an invite from Steve Bronski. This was of course to be the start of a career that would last Kevin the rest of his life.

1991

Started session vocalist work, working with bands and singers around the UK and touring around Europe and working in studios with various productions.

2000

Returned to Scotland, where Kevin started the production of Essential Scotland (THE DVD), this involved filming all over Scotland and as a result of his friend a few years later was to be the start of a rocky relationship with the Scottish national press which resulted in the sales of the DVD shooting upwards making the DVD number 1 for over 2 years.

2001

Following a months holiday in Barbados, Kevin met Velta Denny Holder, a Christian lady, this holiday was to change the way Kevin lived his life and worked, this was the turning point in Kevin's life that will determine new music productions and see his career spiral into the unknown.

2002

Kevin attended Church and became a "lay preacher" attending Churches around the UK talking to youngsters about the music industry and how becoming a Christian changed his perspective on life, Kevin still today continues this work today and travles around the country.

2004

Kevin recorded a Christian album called Atomosphere for Healing, featuring 10 tracks, the album is then released and promoted on Christian radio and TV.

2005

Kevin appears on SKY TV to perform a one hour long concert where over 14 million viewers tune in, as a result, this propelled the album into the Christrian charts and sees the album head from the number 97th position direct to number 2 and stays there for 25 weeks.

Kevin donates proceeds from the album to the DEC as a result of the tsunami disaster in Thailand where former Bronski Beat member Steve Bronski used to live.

2006

Kevin re-appears on the show again with another live show talking about his life and performs tracks from his album, a UK tour is planned and sees Kevin appear all over the UK at various events.

2007

It is decided to re- film some locations for the Essential Scotland DVD, Kevin films in various locations in Scotland and the DVD is completed once again, a website is designed www.scotlandtoday.org and sees the sales of the DVD increase as the DVD is marketed overseas, the DVD has now sold to over 15 Countries around the globe.

The BBC have approached Kevin to put together a documentary on his life from the 80's right through to today, the documentary includes interviews with the press, Sir Cliff Richard and also includes tracks from Bronski Beat and Kevin, the documentary is a huge success, Kevin is then approached to judge on various talent shows throughout the UK and as a result, then produces a set of programmes for SKY TV to interview unsigned bands, as a result, over 6 programmes are made and broadcast with over 10 Million viewers.

A break is needed and Kevin moves to Spain for 6 months.

2008

Kevin is back in the studio recording a new set of tracks for his new album, "Up close and personal", the album features the new written track by kevin/bronski "Sometimes" and features Laura Bell. The album is set to be complete September this year.

A new contract is being negotiated with a new London based management company that will see the album heavily promoted overseas and lots of radio airplay in the making already as talks are already taking place.

A new video is being proposed as is a one hour show "An Audience With", once recorded will then be broadcast on Sky TV as well as various television commercials promoting the album sale and the programme broadcast.

The remainder of 2008-2009 will see Kevin appear at various events around the UK and Europe attending large organised concerts where we aim to sell 100'000 albums in 12 months!

I have listend to this track many times (sometimes). its a very emotional song with lots of meaning . i love it
